The brand for the Collecting Calligraphy show drew inspiration from the idea of collecting. Each manuscript is full of unique details. By combining the manuscripts together, the viewer gets a larger sense of how different each can be. The details in the roman alphabet like serifs and ligatures, along with the layering emulate and lift up the beautiful details of the historic manuscripts.

To commemorate this collection of calligraphic and illuminated manuscripts, a catalogue was also designed. The brand was able to seamlessly incorporated into the cover and expanded through out. Large, full bleed images opposite detail shots of the beautiful elements balance out the large blocks of copy.
